Rising Indie Developers Compete for $1,500 Prize and Global Recognition
Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 has announced the 13 finalist teams for its highly anticipated Game Pitch Competition, highlighting the next wave of talented indie developers from around the world. The winners will be revealed on October 17, with each victorious team receiving a $1,500 cash prize.
Global Talent in the Spotlight
From over 100 submissions by indie developers, 13 teams were selected to compete in the final round. Participants represent countries including Spain, Sweden, Thailand, the United States, and more. Each finalist will present their project on stage at Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2025, divided into three award categories: Best Visual, Best Game Design, and Most Promising Game.
The competition offers a major opportunity for indie developers to showcase their creativity, attract potential investors, and gain international recognition within the global gaming community. Audience voting will help determine the Most Promising Game award, with votes collected in real time during the presentations.

The finalist lineup reflects the diversity and innovation in today’s indie game industry. Titles range from cooperative adventure games with engaging storylines to online RPGs and high-energy action experiences, demonstrating the global creativity of indie developers.

A distinguished panel of gaming experts will judge the competition:

The judging panel combines expertise from AAA publishing, indie development, and portfolio strategy to ensure fair evaluation from both creative and business perspectives.
