This update comes in the form of an Enablement Package or eKB, which is a small package that acts like an activation switch, without the need to download a completely new operating system, but activates the feature code that is already pre-embedded in Windows 11 24H2, allowing users to upgrade with a single restart. This Enablement Package uses the same codebase and update process as 24H2, which allows the update to perform close to the monthly update.
