MU Online Season 20 Part 1 – 2nd Update: New Dungeon, Alchemist Gear, and Events

WEBZEN has unveiled the second major update for MU Online Season 20 Part 1, introducing a new hunting ground, expanded character levels, exclusive gear for the Alchemist class, and a host of in-game events. This update aims to enhance gameplay and provide players with fresh challenges and rewards.

New Hunting Ground: Kardamahal Underground Temple

Located beneath Karutan, the Kardamahal Underground Temple is now accessible to players level 1,500 and above. This eerie dungeon is inhabited by elite monsters such as Devil Sword and Devil Sorcery. Defeating these foes yields rare items like Talismans and Combination Fragments, essential for crafting and enhancing equipment.

Character Level Cap Increased to 1,700

The maximum character level has been raised from 1,650 to 1,700, allowing players to further develop their characters and unlock new abilities. To commemorate this expansion, players who reach levels 1,600 and 1,650 before the next season will receive exclusive Muun companions: the Alchemist Muun and the Dark Lord Muun. These companions provide significant stat boosts for 30 days, aiding players in their adventures.

Alchemist Class: New Gear and Enhancements

The Alchemist class, introduced in a previous update, now has access to specialized equipment:

• Wings of Protection (Lv. 3)
  
• Wings of Purity (Lv. 4)
  
• Wings of Wisdom (Lv. 5)
  

Each wing set offers increased defense, attack power, and damage absorption. Notably, the Wings of Wisdom come with a unique Wing Core that enhances Attack, Wizardry, and Curse stats. Additionally, new socketed weapons and armor have been introduced to further empower the Alchemist class.

In-Game Events and Bonuses

To celebrate the update, several events and bonuses are available until September 9:

• Elemental Symbols Collection: Collect symbols in the Kardamahal Underground Temple to craft Superior Pentagrams and unlock the Elemental Box, containing rare items like Sealed Bloodangel Armor and Kundun’s Seal Scroll.
  
• Experience Boost: Enjoy a 30% EXP increase during special event periods.
  
• Monster HP Reduction: Monsters’ HP is permanently reduced by 20% during the event.
  
• Safe Upgrade for Mastery Bloodangel: Upgrade to +11 without the risk of item loss.
  
• Increased Success Rate for Jewelry Upgrades: A 20% higher success rate for upgrading Mastery jewelry from +8 to +15.
  
• Free Seed Sphere Installation and Removal: No cost for installing or removing Seed Spheres during the event.
  

Additionally, the Lapidary Stone Ranking Event rewards the top 10 players with the prestigious Earring of Foliage.
