Ragnarok World Journey Closed Test Begins This November

Ragnarok World Journey is making its long awaited debut and fans finally got their first official look at the real gameplay. The worldwide reveal trailer showcases a completely reimagined version of the iconic Ragnarok universe, transforming the familiar world of RO into a seamless open world where exploration happens without loading screens or warps. The game is now accepting registrations for limited closed test access, with the first playable demo scheduled to begin in November.

In the trailer, viewers are immediately brought back to Prontera’s South Gate, one of the most unforgettable hubs in Ragnarok history. The camera slowly pulls back to reveal an uninterrupted, expansive world map where areas once separated by loading zones are now connected in real time. The shift to this seamless structure represents a major evolution for the franchise and offers players full freedom to walk, explore, and discover without disruption.

The combat system also sparked fan excitement. The trailer confirms the return of the famous ASPD 193 attack speed, allowing players to unleash relentless attacks at rapid speed just like in classic RO. Every skill animation feels more dynamic and visually striking, giving players screen filling effects that match the frenzy of high speed action. Fans who grew up with Ragnarok’s unique combat style are calling it the most faithful modern adaptation yet.

Customization appears to be one of the biggest upgrades in Ragnarok World Journey. Angel Wing, one of the most iconic headgear items in the franchise, is no longer just a decorative accessory but can now transform into full wings attached to the character’s back. The fashion system supports full X Y Z positional adjustments, allowing players to create unique looks and personalize every cosmetic item to match their style. Instead of choosing from preset appearances, players can now craft an identity that feels uniquely theirs.

Exploration has also become more immersive. Forests, marketplaces, and world elements show dynamic environmental interactions. Players noticed stalls and interactive object hints that could indicate a return of free form marketplace systems or open trading environments. The world no longer feels like a static backdrop but a living space filled with details and discoverable activities.

The closed test will be available to selected players in SEA including Indonesia and the Philippines. Those who register early may receive limited access to become one of the first adventurers to set foot inside the reinvented RO universe. The developer promises more information inside the official community hub where announcements and application updates will be posted.

Ragnarok World Journey opens the door to a fresh adventure that honors the heart of Ragnarok while embracing modern gameplay design. The world is finally ready for a new generation of RO explorers, and this time, the journey begins without boundaries.

THIS IS OUR TAKE

Ragnarok World Journey might be the boldest attempt to modernize the franchise without losing what fans fell in love with. Seamless world exploration, the return of ASPD 193, and deeper customization show that this could be the next big chapter for RO players across SEA who grew up in Prontera and are ready to chase a new adventure.
