Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Releases 3rd Paid DLC PAC-MAN Pack with Festa Event

SEGA CORPORATION has officially released the third paid DLC for Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, titled the PAC-MAN Pack, starting January 8, 2026. This latest update expands the racing roster and content lineup with a full collaboration featuring the legendary PAC-MAN franchise, now available to players across the SEA Region.

The PAC-MAN Pack introduces PAC-MAN himself along with the iconic Ghost characters Blinky, Inky, Pinky, and Clyde, all joining the race as playable characters. Alongside them, players can experience a brand-new collaboration racetrack inspired by PAC-MAN’s classic maze design, known as PAC-VILLAGE & MAZE. A PAC-MAN Mobile collaboration car is also included, giving racers a nostalgic yet stylish new ride.

To celebrate the DLC launch, SEGA is hosting a limited-time in-game event titled PAC-MAN Festa, running from January 9 to January 12, 2026. This special online tournament divides players into three teams, competing collectively to earn points through ranked performance under unique race conditions. Rewards earned during the Festa event will be distributed in a future update, and while some rewards may return in future events, progress and rewards tied to deleted save data cannot be recovered.

The PAC-MAN Pack also adds a wide selection of new background music tracks, all accessible through the in-game jukebox. These include multiple variations of PAC-VILLAGE & MAZE tracks, PAC-MAN character select and result themes, and additional ambient and event music that further enhance the crossover experience.

Players can obtain the paid PAC-MAN Pack by purchasing the Digital Deluxe Edition of Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, which includes the base game and Season Pass, or by purchasing the Season Pass separately. An update to the latest game version is required before accessing the DLC content.

In addition to the PAC-MAN collaboration, SEGA has revealed the January in-game event calendar, which includes the upcoming Legend Round 2 event. This high-level competition is scheduled from January 23 to February 2, 2026, and is open exclusively to players who have reached LEGEND 9 or higher in World Match Mode. Participants who meet the event conditions will receive a special nickname as a reward, with rankings and Legend Levels resetting for each Legend Tournament.

SEGA has also made a demo version of Sonic Racing CrossWorlds available for free on supported platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, and Epic Games Store. The demo allows players to try Grand Prix and Time Trial modes, experiment with car customization, and transfer their saved data to the full game upon purchase.

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds originally launched on September 25, 2025, and continues to expand with new content and collaborations. A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is also scheduled for release, with save data transfer supported from the original Nintendo Switch version.
