PAC-MAN Takes the Wheel in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
SEGA and Bandai Namco have unveiled exciting DLC: PAC-MAN is joining Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds as a playable character—alongside his ever-present rivals, the Ghosts.
What to Expect:
- Race as PAC-MAN or the Ghosts on a brand-new track inspired by PAC-MAN’s iconic maze design—complete with his signature dots instead of rings and charm-infused PAC hubcaps.
- This PAC-MAN pack will launch in early 2026, as part of the game’s ongoing Season Pass.
- There’s also a corresponding Sonic-themed DLC for PAC-MAN World 2 Re-PAC, featuring new stages and costumes.
Open Network Test & Release Dates:
- An Open Network Test is scheduled for August 29 to September 1, 2025, allowing players to race as Sonic and friends for free on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
- Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launches on September 25, 2025, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version expected later.
