Sonic Racing Cross-Worlds Launches Minecraft DLC Pack — Steve, Alex & Creeper Join the Race

SEGA has officially released the first paid DLC for Sonic Racing Cross-Worlds, introducing a special Minecraft Pack. From October 10, 2025, players can unlock Steve, Alex, and Creeper as new racers, plus Minecraft-inspired tracks, vehicles, and remixed music drawn from the Minecraft universe.

To celebrate, the game is holding a Minecraft Festa event from October 10 to October 13 (UTC+7). During this time, players can collect special in-game items and rewards related to the crossover.

The Minecraft DLC is available through SEGA’s Digital Deluxe Edition (which bundles the base game and season pass) or via separate purchase.

A free demo version is also available across multiple platforms (PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, and Epic), letting players try out “Grand Prix” and “Time Trial” modes. Progress from the demo carries over if you purchase the full game.

The main Sonic Racing Cross-Worlds game is set to launch on September 25, 2025, across major consoles and PC.

In the demo version, you’ll be able to enjoy the “Grand Prix” and “Time Trial” modes before anyone else, and you can experiment with customizing the car and gadgets.
