LG Unveils Smarter xboom Speaker Series Ahead of CES 2026

LG is drawing early attention ahead of CES 2026 by unveiling multiple new models in its xboom speaker lineup, reinforcing its presence in the global audio market. This latest launch continues LG’s creative collaboration with will.i.am, the Black Eyed Peas artist who serves as the brand’s Experiential Architect and plays a key role in shaping both the visual identity and sound philosophy of the xboom series.
The new xboom speakers are designed to blend lifestyle-driven aesthetics with intelligent audio technology, targeting users who value both sound performance and immersive experiences.
AI-Powered Audio and Smart Ambient Lighting
The defining feature across the new xboom lineup is the integration of advanced AI systems into every model. These algorithms analyze music genres and surrounding environments in real time, automatically adjusting EQ settings to deliver optimal sound output without manual tuning.
In addition, the speakers feature AI-driven ambient lighting, which goes beyond simple beat-synced effects. Using music analysis, the system dynamically adapts lighting colors and patterns to match the emotional tone of each track, enhancing atmosphere whether used indoors or at outdoor gatherings.
xboom Stage 501 Built for Karaoke and Parties
The flagship xboom Stage 501 is clearly aimed at party-focused users. It introduces AI Karaoke Master, a feature capable of removing vocals from standard music tracks with impressive accuracy while adjusting pitch in real time to suit the singer’s vocal range.
The speaker delivers 220 watts of output when plugged in and 160 watts on battery power, with up to 25 hours of battery life. Audio hardware includes a dual woofer system paired with Peerless tweeters, ensuring clarity across low, mid, and high frequencies.
xboom Blast for Outdoor Adventures
For more rugged use cases, LG introduced the xboom Blast, a boombox-style speaker designed for durability and long sessions. It houses a 99Wh battery capable of up to 35 hours of playback and features reinforced rubber protection along with a rope-style handle for easy portability.
The speaker is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance, making it suitable for outdoor activities such as hiking, poolside events, or beach parties across the SEA Region.

Compact Models xboom Mini and xboom Rock
The xboom Mini focuses on portability, featuring a compact cube-shaped design with up to 10 hours of battery life per charge. It includes a Magic Strap for hanging and an integrated tripod mount, making it ideal for casual travel and personal listening.
Meanwhile, the xboom Rock stands out with a design inspired by natural stone while meeting seven Military Standard durability tests. It also supports Auracast, allowing users to share audio across multiple compatible speakers simultaneously for a wider soundstage.
Availability and CES 2026 Showcase
LG has not yet announced pricing or exact release dates for the new xboom speakers. However, the company confirmed that all four models will launch globally within 2026.
Attendees of CES 2026 in Las Vegas, running from January 6 to January 9, will be able to experience the speakers firsthand at LG’s exhibition booth, showcasing the results of this collaboration between a global technology leader and a world-renowned artist.
