Xbox Cloud Gaming in Cars

Gaming on the road just leveled up as Microsoft and LG officially announced their partnership to bring Xbox Cloud Gaming to vehicles. While in-car entertainment isn’t entirely new—Tesla has long offered Tesla Arcade with titles like Cuphead, The Witcher 3, and Cyberpunk 2077—this collaboration takes things further by opening access to the expansive Xbox library.
Through LG’s webOS smart car platform, passengers will be able to stream games directly via Xbox Cloud Gaming, giving them access to Game Pass Ultimate’s full catalog as well as the option to stream games they already own. This means blockbuster titles like Forza Horizon 5, Gears of War: Reloaded, and even new releases like Mafia: The Old Country can be played seamlessly on the go.

The rollout will begin in regions where Xbox Cloud Gaming is currently supported, including the United States, Japan, and South Korea. For Southeast Asia, the service is not yet available, but Microsoft has made it clear this is part of a long-term vision championed by Xbox head Phil Spencer: expanding the Xbox ecosystem to every screen possible.
The initiative reinforces Microsoft’s commitment to breaking down barriers, ensuring players can enjoy console-quality gaming without hardware limitations. Alongside smartphones, PCs, and smart TVs, cars are now officially part of the Xbox Cloud experience. Even free-to-play titles such as Fortnite will be streamable without extra costs, making in-car gaming more accessible than ever.
