The modding community surrounding Resident Evil Requiem continues to surprise players with creative crossovers. This time, characters from the racing franchise Uma Musume Pretty Derby have entered the horror world through two unusual PC mods.

These fan creations replace key characters and enemies inside the game, transforming intense horror moments into something both bizarre and hilarious.

Mihono Bourbon replaces Grace Ashcroft

The first mod replaces Grace Ashcroft with the Uma Musume character Mihono Bourbon.

Mihono Bourbon is known for her calm personality and data driven racing style, often described as a “cyborg” racer who analyzes races using statistics and strategy.

In the mod, players guide Mihono Bourbon through the dangerous halls of Wrenwood Hotel, taking the place of Grace during the story campaign. The visual swap creates a surreal moment as the anime horse girl character navigates the dark survival horror environment.

The mod is available for download through Nexus Mods for PC players.

Chibi Mambo replaces the terrifying monster

The second mod focuses on one of the game’s enemies. It replaces the terrifying monster known as “The Girl” with a chibi version of Matikanetannhauser, often nicknamed Chibi Mambo.

Instead of being chased by a frightening horror creature, players now run from a tiny anime horse girl character. The result is a strange mix of horror tension and comedic absurdity.

Although the chibi character does not shout her famous “Mambo” catchphrase while chasing players, the visual contrast alone creates a memorable moment for those exploring the mod.

Chaos when both mods are installed

Things become even funnier when both mods are installed at the same time. In that scenario, players will see Mihono Bourbon desperately running away from Chibi Mambo inside Wrenwood Hotel.

The unexpected crossover highlights how creative the modding community can be when experimenting with character swaps.

While Resident Evil Requiem is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, mod support is only available for the PC version. Players interested in trying these mods will need to play the game on PC.
