Dreadweave Launches in Steam Early Access Today

While the game follows the familiar extraction formula of scavenging valuable loot and escaping safely, it introduces a unique survival mechanic—terrifying monsters from another dimension can detect players based on their heartbeat, adding another layer of tension to every expedition.

About Dreadweave

Dreadweave is a survival extraction shooter set in a massive Soviet-inspired city that has been sealed off following a catastrophic secret experiment.

The failed experiment split reality into two dimensions—one inhabited by humans and another overrun by monstrous creatures.

After leaving the safety of an underground bunker, players must venture into the abandoned city to search for supplies, gather resources, craft equipment, and successfully extract with their loot.

However, survival isn’t simply about defeating enemies.

Players must also keep their nerves under control.

The game’s signature heartbeat system allows monsters to sense players more easily as their heart rate increases. The more panicked you become, the easier it is for these creatures to locate and hunt you down.

Combined with dynamic situations and constantly changing environmental conditions, every run offers a different survival experience.

Current Early Access Roadmap

According to the developers, Dreadweave is expected to remain in Early Access for approximately one year while additional content and improvements are introduced.
