Open Beta Test Confirmed for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok!
Playable from April 24–27 on all supported platforms. Granblue Fantasy anime and
manga have also been made free for a limited time.
Video game publisher and developer Cygames, Inc. (HQ: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Koichi Watanabe; hereinafter referred to as “Cygames”) has announced an official open beta test for the upcoming action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok (hereinafter referred to as Endless Ragnarok). The game is set to release on July 9, 2026 for Nintendo Switch™ 2, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and Steam®.
The beta test is intended to verify network load and game performance on all supported platforms. In addition to all the content featured in the previous closed beta, Summons—helpful allies who can be invoked in combat—will also be made available for the first time.
Cygames has also announced the release of a special Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok introductory movie, recapping the plot of Granblue Fantasy. Additionally, Cygames will be making the Granblue Fantasy manga as well as Granblue Fantasy: The Animation free to view for a limited time.

Four quests will be playable during the open beta. Upon completing the first three, “Sephira’s Sanguine Glimmer” will unlock as the fourth quest. The new Summons mechanic will be available in this quest, along with Primal Burst—an enhanced version of the Full Burst which requires full coordination from the party to activate. Additionally, as with the closed beta test, Beatrix will be playable once more.
The open beta test supports online multiplayer and cross-platform play.

Story
Our tale begins in the Sky Realm, where myriad islands float in a sea of clouds. Led by an intrepid captain, a band of skyfarers seek the mythical island of Estalucia. Their adventures, ushered by some fateful wind, would lead them toward a forgotten corner of the Sky Realm: Zegagrande Skydom.
Gameplay Features
Band together for exhilarating battles.
Form a party of four and depart for battle in this epic action RPG. Each character sports distinct combat mechanics, allowing for a whole crewful of unique playstyles. Weave these playstyles together using satisfying party-based attacks—like link attacks and chain bursts—to really make combat soar. Even recruits fresh to action gaming can take advantage of Assist Mode to reach the story’s heart-pounding conclusion.
Embark on an endless variety of co-op quests.
A wide range of quests become available as the adventure unfolds. From unique boss fights to horde-survival missions, all quests are playable offline or online with up to four players. Whether it’s casual questing or ultra-challenging end content, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Although the Astral Lilith’s machinations lay thwarted, winds of change begin to stir within the Zegagrande Skydom… Strange beings called the “ragnalia” herald the end times. Mysterious gateways beckon would-be challengers into a realm of chaos. And even the mighty Beelzebub, with his wings of steel, descends upon Zegagrande.

During their journey, players will unlock the ability to equip and call forth summons, adding a new dimension to battle strategy. Once channeled by Lyria, some summons can be temporarily controlled by the player; but if certain conditions are met, others will make a spectacular entrance alongside a new type of chain burst—the “primal burst.”
