Netmarble has released a major content update for Solo Leveling: ARISE, introducing Shadow Monarch Sung Jinwoo, a powerful new playable form that expands the protagonist’s signature combat style while bringing additional story content, gameplay improvements, and special in-game events.

Become the Shadow Monarch

Sung Jinwoo now appears as the Shadow Monarch Successor, a Dark-element fighter capable of transforming into the Shadow Monarch during battle.

His new abilities include:

• Mirage Blade, which unleashes deadly sword strikes.
• Sovereign Doom, a devastating attack that overwhelms enemies with the power of destruction.

Players can permanently obtain this version of Sung Jinwoo simply by completing designated in-game missions, as the event has no expiration date.

New Hunter Joins the Roster

The update also introduces Jung Yerim, a new Fire-element support hunter.

She specializes in strengthening the entire party by providing:

• Healing
• Protective shields
• Increased Fire Overload damage
• Burst damage bonuses
• Attack boosts
• Ultimate Skill damage enhancement

New Progression and Story Content

Several gameplay systems have also been expanded, including:

• Sung Jinwoo’s maximum level increased from 150 to 160
• New job advancement: Shadow Monarch: Conqueror
• Light Invasion updated with Baran, the White Flame Monarch as the new boss
• Hidden Chapters 11 and 12 added for both Normal and Reverse Normal difficulties

Seasonal Events Continue

Players can also participate in the “Mermaid and the Chaotic Summer!” event, which offers numerous rewards through various in-game activities.
