Ubisoft has officially confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will launch worldwide on July 9, 2026, bringing back one of the most beloved pirate adventures in gaming with a full remake experience.
A Faithful Remake with Modern Upgrades
Developed by Ubisoft Singapore, this new version is a complete remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag built using the latest Anvil engine.
Players can expect major improvements including:
- Modernized visuals with enhanced detail
- Improved combat system with parry mechanics
- Refined stealth and parkour gameplay
- Deeper and more immersive naval combat
- Additional new story content
Return to the Golden Age of Pirates
Set during the legendary Golden Age of Piracy, players once again step into the boots of Edward Kenway, a charismatic pirate captain seeking fortune and freedom.
Along the journey, you’ll encounter iconic figures such as:
- Blackbeard
- Anne Bonny
- Calico Jack
All while being caught in the timeless conflict between the Assassins and the Templars.

Ubisoft also revealed multiple editions for players:
- Standard Edition – Base game
- Deluxe Edition – Includes Master Assassin character and naval packs
