Fatal Fury Reveals Kenshiro Gameplay Trailer

Kenshiro Enters Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves in New Gameplay Trailer
SNK Corporation has revealed a new character gameplay trailer for Kenshiro, who is joining FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves as part of a special collaboration with Fist of the North Star: HOKUTO NO KEN.
Known as the savior of the century and the sole successor of Hokuto Shinken, Kenshiro is now heading to South Town as the final DLC fighter of Season 2.
More details about the character will be announced later, but the new trailer already gives players a strong look at how his brutal martial arts style will translate into Fatal Fury’s fast-paced fighting system.
Seven Scars, Two Worlds, One Legend
Kenshiro’s arrival brings together two legendary worlds.
After first being announced at AnimeJapan 2026, Kenshiro is now preparing to step into the world of FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves. His appearance also connects with the new anime project Fist of the North Star: HOKUTO NO KEN, which has launched in Japan and other regions worldwide.
In this crossover, Kenshiro travels to South Town, carrying the same purpose he has always followed: protecting the weak, the lost, and the broken while crushing those who abuse their power.
Hokuto Shinken Brings Fast and Heavy Attacks
Kenshiro’s gameplay is built around the deadly martial art Hokuto Shinken.
His fighting style focuses on fast strikes, heavy pressure, and powerful attack strings that can overwhelm opponents. The source describes his moves as quick, aggressive, and capable of connecting into exciting combos through stance changes.
Players will need to manage distance carefully and keep opponents guessing with Kenshiro’s movement and techniques. His strength appears to come from applying pressure, reading the opponent, and using powerful martial arts to finish the fight quickly.
Voice Cast Confirmed

Kenshiro will feature two voice options.
The English voice will be handled by Clayton Alexander, while the Japanese voice will be performed by Shunsuke Takeuchi.
This gives players the option to experience Kenshiro in either English or Japanese, depending on their preference.
New Story Content in Arcade and EOST

Kenshiro’s arrival will also include new story content in both Arcade Mode and EOST, also known as Episodes of South Town.
In Arcade Mode, Kenshiro awakens in an unfamiliar place and realizes he is no longer in the wasteland he once knew. Instead, he finds himself in modern-day South Town, a city where the weak are being bullied and villains hold power.
He then joins the King of Fighters tournament alongside Terry, Hokutomaru, and Hotaru, sharing one goal: to confront Wolfgang Krauser, who sees the city as nothing more than a stepping stone for his own ambition.
In EOST, Kenshiro also wakes up in South Town and meets Terry, Mai, and other fighters. After learning about mysterious events taking place across the city, he begins searching for the truth, pulling the post-apocalyptic warrior into the darkness surrounding City of the Wolves.

The game introduces the REV System, a bold visual style, and the single-player RPG-style mode Episodes of South Town. It also supports smooth online play through Rollback Netcode and cross-platform support.
Season 2 continues the game’s momentum with new characters and balance updates, giving both new and returning players more reasons to enter the fight.
THIS IS our take
Kenshiro feels like a strong final DLC fighter for FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves Season 2. His Hokuto Shinken style fits naturally into a fighting game, especially with fast attacks, heavy pressure, and brutal combo potential. The crossover also works because both Fatal Fury and Fist of the North Star carry that classic, larger-than-life fighting spirit. For fans of SNK and Hokuto no Ken, this is one crossover worth watching closely.
