Tower of Nizareth Launches in Early Access on Android

Tower of Nizareth: Deck RPG is now available for Android players through Google Play, offering a strategic mix of deck building, roguelike progression, automated combat, and permanent character development.

Developed by HO SYSTEM LLC., the mobile RPG follows a group of challengers traveling toward the mysterious Dark Tower after Saintess Anastasia is abducted and her protective blessing disappears from the land.

Rescue the Saintess and Conquer the Dark Tower

The story begins after Saintess Anastasia is taken captive. Without her blessing, monsters spread throughout the kingdom while the royal army falls under the influence of darkness.

The king promises to grant any wish to the person capable of rescuing Anastasia. Whether motivated by wealth, loyalty, or the desire to prove their strength, players must cross a corrupted world and eventually reach the tower where she is being held.

The journey takes players through four principal dungeons: the Ruined Highway, the City of Ruins, the Defiled Cave, and the Forbidden Grounds. Powerful bosses and increasingly dangerous enemies stand between the player and the Dark Tower.

Automated Battles Driven by Strategic Decisions

Combat unfolds automatically through turn-based encounters, but players remain responsible for the decisions that determine how each battle develops.

Players must select which cards to draft, decide when to conserve their options, and determine the best time to commit their strongest attacks. Each decision can affect the composition and effectiveness of the deck for the remainder of the run.

This structure shifts the focus away from rapid tapping or direct character controls. Success instead depends on deck construction, card combinations, resource management, and adapting to the options presented during each expedition.

Fuse Cards to Create a Stronger Deck

Card fusion is one of the game’s defining mechanics. Players can combine two cards to produce a single, more powerful card, reducing the overall size of the deck while improving its combat potential.

A thinner deck can make it easier to draw essential abilities consistently. However, deciding which cards to sacrifice creates another strategic consideration, as an unsuccessful fusion choice may remove useful options from the current build.

The cards discovered during each attempt are randomized. As a result, players cannot depend on receiving the same abilities or recreating an identical deck every time they enter a dungeon.

Every Roguelike Run Develops Differently

The randomized card system means that each expedition can produce different strategies, combinations, and character builds.

Players may develop an aggressive deck centered on consecutive attacks during one run, then receive cards better suited to defense, counterattacks, or poison effects during the next. The available choices encourage players to adjust their plans rather than following one fixed setup.

Defeat resets the player’s active deck, following the familiar structure of a roguelike game. However, not every form of progress is lost when a run ends.

Permanent Town and Character Upgrades

Growth points earned inside the dungeons can be spent on permanent improvements in town.

While cards and the current deck reset after defeat, town development and accumulated experience remain. These permanent upgrades are designed to make future attempts more manageable, allowing players to overcome enemies or barriers that stopped their previous runs.

This progression system provides a clear incentive to continue playing after an unsuccessful expedition. Even a failed attempt can contribute resources or experience toward a stronger starting position on the next journey.

Choose From Three Distinct Challengers

Tower of Nizareth features three playable challengers, each offering exclusive cards and a different strategic identity.

The Adventurer is a versatile combatant built around direct attacks and extended combinations. This character is intended for players who prefer an adaptable and offensively focused deck.

The Knight is a former member of the Saintess’s guard who specializes in shields, survival, and counterattacks. The character’s defensive tools support a more patient approach built around absorbing pressure before retaliating.

The Hunter uses ranged attacks and gradually accumulating poison effects to weaken enemies. Each challenger develops a substantially different card pool, giving players a reason to experiment with all three combat styles.

Damage Forecasts Support Tactical Planning

The game includes damage and kill forecasts that allow players to evaluate the likely result of an action before committing to it.

These forecasts can help players determine whether an attack will defeat an enemy, whether additional defensive preparation is necessary, or whether a stronger card should be saved for a later turn.

Providing this information is particularly useful in a deck-building game, where one poorly timed decision can affect the remainder of an encounter or even end an entire run.

Retro Pixel Characters Meet 3D Dungeons

The game uses retro-inspired pixel artwork for its characters while presenting its dungeon environments with three-dimensional visual elements.

This hybrid presentation gives Tower of Nizareth a classic RPG appearance without limiting the environments to entirely two-dimensional backgrounds. Automated battle animations allow players to concentrate on card selection and tactical planning while the characters carry out their assigned actions.

The game currently supports nine languages and is listed as an ad-supported role-playing game on Google Play.
