NCSoft to Reveal Project Bonfire for the First Time at Gamescom 2026
NCSoft has announced its participation in Gamescom 2026, the world’s largest gaming exhibition, which will take place in Cologne, Germany, beginning on August 26.
During Opening Night Live (ONL), the company will showcase three global titles: AION 2, CINDER CITY, and Project Bonfire, which will be revealed publicly for the first time.
AION 2 Heads Toward Global Early Access
AION 2 is scheduled to begin its global Early Access period on September 30. Founder’s Packs, which include Early Access participation, are currently available for purchase.
Through Gamescom 2026, NCSoft aims to expand its reach among global players and build anticipation ahead of the game’s release.
New Look at CINDER CITY
CINDER CITY is an open-world cinematic third-person shooter currently in development.
During Opening Night Live, NCSoft will premiere a new trailer introducing the world and setting of CINDER CITY. Since opening its Steam page in July, the development team has been sharing updates with players while continuing development.
Project Bonfire Makes Its First Public Appearance
NCSoft will also unveil its previously announced development project, Project Bonfire, for the very first time during Opening Night Live.
The presentation will introduce the game’s official title through its debut trailer while showcasing its core concept and key features. Additional information about the project will be released gradually following its reveal.

Guild Wars 3 to Join the Business Hall
Meanwhile, Guild Wars 3, currently in development by NCSoft’s North American studio ArenaNet for PC and consoles, will be showcased in the Gamescom Business Area (B2B).
The title was first revealed during Summer Game Fest 2026 in June and will continue its presence at major international gaming events with its Gamescom appearance.
