Fortnite x Overwatch Crossover Brings Huge Chaos

Fortnite continues its streak of surprise crossovers with a new Overwatch collaboration.

The crossover arrives in Chapter 7 Season 2 and brings Overwatch heroes into the main story. They join the hero side with The Foundation to fight a demon army.

Overwatch skins enter Fortnite

The crossover includes skins and weapon items.

The skin lineup features Tracer, Genji, D. Va, and Mercy. These outfits follow their looks from Overwatch 2.

Players can buy a bundle with special emojis for 4,200 vBucks. The article compares this to around 840 Thai baht.

Players can also buy individual skins for 1,600 vBucks each.

The skins are cosmetic only. They do not come with special abilities or items. Players still need to find weapons on the battlefield.

New weapons and themed locations

Players can find Pulse Pistols, Tracer’s dual pistols, inside treasure chests.

Mercy’s staff can also appear and help restore allies.

Tracer’s pistols include a time-rewind power inspired by her original skill set.

The map also includes areas decorated with Overwatch themes, including King’s Row and Hanamura. Players who finish activities can earn more themed items, including Reinhardt’s hammer.

Fortnite has officially reached “anything can happen” territory, and somehow it still works. Tracer rewinding through a Fortnite firefight sounds ridiculous, but that is exactly why players will log in.
