Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok Demo Now Available
Cygames has released a free demo for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, giving players a chance to try the action RPG expansion before its full release next month.
The demo is available across supported platforms and lets both new and returning players experience key parts of the game, including Story Mode, Quest Mode, Tutorial content, and online quest play. Players who complete parts of the demo can also unlock special rewards for the full game.
Try Story Mode, Quest Mode, and Tutorial
The demo includes three main sections.
Story Mode lets players experience the early part of the main Granblue Fantasy: Relink story. This is especially useful for new players who want to understand the world, characters, and basic flow of the adventure before jumping into the full experience.
Quest Mode offers four quests that players can try either solo or through online play. One of these quests also introduces the new Summon system, one of the key additions in Endless Ragnarok.
Finally, Tutorial helps players learn the controls, combat structure, and core gameplay systems before taking on larger challenges.
Online Quests Support Crossplay
One of the biggest highlights of the demo is online quest support.
Players can join quests with others through online matchmaking, and the demo supports crossplay across platforms. This means players can experience the game’s co-op action with friends and other players even before the full release.
For a game built around fast-paced party combat, character roles, boss fights, and teamwork, this is one of the best ways to understand what makes Granblue Fantasy: Relink exciting.
New Summon System Appears in Quest Mode
Endless Ragnarok introduces a new Summon mechanic that expands combat strategy.
In the demo, players can unlock a special quest tied to this system after clearing the available Quest Mode content. This gives players an early look at how Summons can affect battle flow and create new tactical options during fights.
For returning players, this is likely the most important part of the demo because it previews one of the expansion’s biggest gameplay changes.
Demo Rewards Can Be Claimed in the Full Game
Players who complete demo content can receive rewards in the full version of Granblue Fantasy: Relink or Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok.
However, players should note that demo progress itself does not fully carry over. Story progress, character levels, and similar data will not transfer into the full game. The save data is mainly used for reward eligibility.
This makes the demo more of a preview and bonus unlock opportunity rather than a full early-start campaign.
Endless Ragnarok Adds More Content
Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok expands the original action RPG with new content, bosses, progression systems, and gameplay features.
The expansion adds more enemies to fight, new solo challenges, character perk upgrades, and full crossplay support for online play. On Nintendo Switch 2, the game will also include a local co-op feature that allows players to connect controllers for split-screen-style play.
The game continues the high-fantasy adventure of the Granblue world, where players explore floating islands, complete quests, fight powerful enemies, and team up with friends in co-op battles.

Release Date and Platforms
Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok is scheduled to launch on July 9.
The release will arrive on PlayStation 5 and PC, while also marking the game’s first appearance on Nintendo Switch 2. Players interested in the PC version can visit the Steam page now and download the demo.
The Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok demo is a smart move from Cygames. It gives new players a way to understand the base game, lets returning fans test the new Summon system, and shows how crossplay will support the game’s co-op future. If the full expansion delivers strong bosses, satisfying progression, and smooth online play, Endless Ragnarok could bring Relink back into the spotlight this July.
