Silent Hill Townfall Launches September 24, 2026

SILENT HILL: Townfall Launches on September 24, 2026

KONAMI has officially announced that SILENT HILL: Townfall will launch on September 24, 2026.

The next phase of the legendary psychological horror series will be available on PlayStation 5, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Fans can now pre-order the game and watch the latest trailer for a closer look at its unsettling world.

The SILENT HILL franchise has sold more than 17.1 million units worldwide, based on internal tracking as of the end of March 2026. This figure includes physical shipments, digital downloads, and users from subscription services.

A Standalone Horror Story Set in Scotland

SILENT HILL: Townfall is developed by Screen Burn and co-published by Annapurna Interactive and KONAMI.

The game is a full psychological horror experience with a standalone story. It takes place in the cold and lonely setting of Scotland, giving this entry a different atmosphere from previous games in the series.

The story follows Simon Ordell, who is called back to St. Amelia to “make things right.”

However, what waits for him is a quiet town hidden beneath thick fog. The place looks abandoned, but it has never truly been at peace. As Simon tries to understand his connection to the town and its people, fragments of the past begin to rise from beneath the water.

First-Person Horror With Limited Tools

The game is played entirely from a first-person perspective.

Simon must explore, hide, and survive with limited weapons and equipment. One of his key tools is a portable CRTV television, which can tune into unstable signals.

Escaping will be tense, while combat will feel frantic and aggressive. Players will also solve story-driven puzzles that slowly reveal long-hidden truths.

This setup makes SILENT HILL: Townfall feel focused on fear, survival, mystery, and psychological pressure.

Pre-Order and Launch Bonuses

Players who pre-order or purchase the game during the launch period will receive special digital bonuses.

These bonuses apply to the standard physical edition, standard digital edition, and digital deluxe edition.

The bonus content includes:

  • CRTV device appearance skin
  • Simon outfit skin
  • Game soundtrack sampler
  • Digital art book
  • 48-hour early access

These extras give fans more reason to secure the game early before launch.
