In Neverness to Everness, vehicles are more than just a way to get around. They play a major role in exploration, immersion, and even gameplay progression, giving players freedom to traverse the massive open-world city in style.
Here’s a complete breakdown of how the vehicle system works and how to make the most of it.
Unlocking Your First Vehicle
Players will receive their first vehicle early in the game by completing the Photo Studio questline.
Once completed, you’ll unlock the Rover A1 scooter, allowing you to freely travel across the city of Hethereau and begin your driving journey.
How to Buy New Vehicles
To purchase additional vehicles, you must first:
- Unlock the City Tycoon system
- Reach City Tycoon Level 2
After that, simply:
- Visit a vehicle shop
- Talk to the NPC vendor
- Choose your desired vehicle
- Purchase it using Fons (in-game currency)
You can earn Fons through daily missions, activities, and exploration.
Vehicle Shops and Locations
There are several locations where vehicles can be purchased:
- Novus Dealership
- TerraX Dealership
- Regalia Dealership
Each offers vehicles at different price ranges, from affordable rides to premium high-end cars.
Additional sources include:
- Mall (premium purchases or Fons)
- Special currency shops using Robbank Coin

In addition to the car shops listed above, Players can also purchase vehicles from other locations, such as the Mall, the game’s shop (pay with real money or use Fons), or Pink Paws Bank HQ, which requires a special currency such as Robbank Coin to purchase.
You can also use Robbank Coins to buy a B100 car or a Tomorrow Rush ambulance cart.
How to Summon Vehicles
Using your vehicle is quick and convenient:
- Press T to summon your vehicle
- Small vehicles can be called anywhere
- Larger vehicles require you to be on a road
You can also hold T to switch between vehicles, with up to 6 shortcuts available.
Managing Vehicle Shortcuts
If you own more than six vehicles, you can customize your quick access:
- Open Inventory
- Go to the Important Items tab
- Assign vehicles to slots (1–6)
- Confirm your setup
This lets you instantly switch to your favorite rides anytime.
Repairing and Upgrading Vehicles
Vehicles in NTE have a durability system. If damaged, you can repair them at garages.
To repair or upgrade:
- Visit a garage (Rampage Players icon)
- Access the repair/customization menu
- Spend Fons to restore durability
Some vehicles never degrade, meaning they don’t require repairs.
Deep Customization System
Customization varies depending on the vehicle type:
- Scooters: Basic options like skins and colors
- Cars: Advanced upgrades including:
- Engine
- Transmission
- Brakes
- Tires
- Suspension
Upgrades can improve speed, acceleration, handling, and stability, making each vehicle feel unique.
Other Vehicle Features
The system goes even further with additional features:
- License Plate Customization (unlock at City Tycoon Level 20)
- Invite Companions (Esper) to ride with you (requires Bond Level 2)

How to invite Espers to ride with us
You can invite Esper to ride with us by clicking on the Garage in the City Tycoon menu and selecting the Passenger icon in the top right. But the character must also have a bond value with us from level 2 and above.
