Volcano Princess Heads to Consoles and Mobile on July 30 with Free Demo Available
Publisher Colorful Palette and developer Egg Hatcher have announced that Volcano Princess will launch on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android on July 30. Players can also download a free Prologue demo now, although save data from the demo cannot be transferred to the full game.
Originally released on Steam in April 2023 and later arriving on Xbox Series and the Microsoft Store in 2025, Volcano Princess is a fantasy life simulation RPG that blends parenting, adventure and storytelling. The upcoming console and mobile versions will include additional content that is also scheduled to arrive as a free update for Steam players in October.
Set in the magical Volcano Kingdom, players take on the role of a single parent raising a daughter while protecting the realm from looming threats. Every decision influences her future, from education and friendships to career paths and personal development.
The game features more than 50 different endings, allowing players to shape their daughter’s destiny through daily choices, relationship building and major story events. Along the way, players can explore dungeons, recruit allies, uncover hidden secrets and battle dangerous monsters threatening the kingdom.
The new console and mobile editions introduce the exclusive “Path of Two Shadows” dungeon, featuring new story events, illustrations, exploration maps and additional items. Players will also gain access to expanded narrative content that reveals new perspectives on key characters.
Another major addition is full Japanese voice acting, bringing greater immersion to conversations and story scenes throughout the adventure.
Combining life simulation, RPG progression and emotional storytelling, Volcano Princess offers a unique experience for players who enjoy meaningful choices and character development. The game launches on July 30 across PS5, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android platforms.
