Endless Ragnarok Pre-Orders Bring Epic New Battles

Cygames has officially announced that pre-orders for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok are now live.

Pre-orders begin today, May 14, through PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop.

The game is scheduled to launch on July 9, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam.

To celebrate the announcement, Cygames has also released 2 new videos. One trailer showcases new characters who play central roles in the story of Endless Ragnarok. The other introduces new gameplay features coming to the expansion.

Players on Steam cannot pre-order the game yet. However, they can add it to their wishlist.

Special Bonus For Granblue Fantasy Players

Players who purchase Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok or the Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok Upgrade Kit will be able to claim bonus items.

These bonus items can be used in the mobile, browser, or Steam version of Granblue Fantasy.

All purchases of Endless Ragnarok are eligible for the bonus. This applies across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam.

Details about the bonus contents and claim method will be announced later.

New Trailer Strength & Darkness Revealed

Cygames also released the second trailer for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, titled Strength & Darkness.

This trailer introduces 2 new playable characters and 1 new enemy.

Fraux and Fediel complete the lineup of new playable characters coming to Endless Ragnarok. Their addition brings the total number of new playable characters to 6.

When combined with returning characters from Relink, players can choose from 29 playable characters. Each character has a unique playstyle, giving players more freedom in battle.

This larger roster should help players prepare for dangerous enemies such as The World.

Fraux Brings Striking Strength

Fraux is one of the new playable characters in Endless Ragnarok.

She is voiced by Azumi Asakura in Japanese and Kelly Baskin in English.

Fraux is a pactbearer to The Devil, a primal seeking to create a new world order.

Despite that dramatic connection, she is otherwise an ordinary skydweller. Her heart, character, and temperament are filled with love and compassion.

This contrast makes Fraux an interesting addition to the cast.

She carries both emotional warmth and powerful combat potential, making her one of the characters to watch in Endless Ragnarok.

Fediel Embodies Darkness

Fediel also joins the playable roster.

She is voiced by Asami Tano in Japanese and Savy Des-Etages in English.

Fediel is one of the Six Dragons, entities that exist beyond the limits of the natural world.

She holds dominion over darkness and can influence the very laws of nature.

Her presence adds a darker and more powerful energy to the new character lineup.

Players who enjoy characters with overwhelming presence and supernatural power may want to try Fediel when Endless Ragnarok launches.

The World Appears As A New Enemy

The trailer also introduces The World.

The World is voiced by Atsushi Ono in Japanese and Kellen Goff in English.

One of the Arcarum, The World is described as the plinth and pillar to which the other Arcarum are tied.

It was originally created by the Astrals in ancient times. Eventually, it evolved into a state of self-awareness and self-actualization, developing its own identity.

This makes The World a major threat and a fascinating enemy for players to face.

Summons Add A New Layer To Battles

Another new trailer introduces 2 major features coming to Endless Ragnarok: Summons and the Conflux.

As players progress through the story, they will gain the ability to equip Summons and call them onto the battlefield.

Some Summons can be briefly controlled during combat. Others provide buffs to the party.

Equipped Summons also grant passive bonuses, giving players another way to strengthen their characters.

This system adds another strategic layer to combat. Players can choose Summons that match their playstyle, party setup, or preferred battle strategy.

Powerful Controllable Summons Join The Fight

Some controllable Summons have much stronger combat abilities.

The preview video introduces Lucilius and Rolan as examples of these powerful Summons.

These unique Summons control more like playable characters, giving players a more active and exciting way to use them in combat.

Lucilius is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai in Japanese and Sean Chiplock in English.

He is an Astral researcher with extraordinary intelligence who rebelled against the gods. His head was transplanted onto the body of Lucifer, his masterpiece of a primal beast, granting him overwhelming power.

Rolan is voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya in Japanese and Sean Chiplock in English.

He is a proper gentleman from the westerly skies. The player first meets him by chance, but he chooses to travel with the crew for the time being.

Primal Burst Adds A Final Strike

Endless Ragnarok also introduces Primal Burst.

Lyria herself can summon a primal beast to strike enemies with a powerful follow-up attack.

This process has 2 steps.

First, Lyria becomes ready to summon when the party enters Link Time. Then, once all 4 party members perform a Full Burst by using their Skybound Arts in succession, Lyria summons a primal beast for an extra burst of damage.

This gives players another explosive reward for coordinated party attacks.

The system should make major battles feel more dramatic and satisfying.

When Can Summons Be Used?

Summons will not be available from the very beginning.

Players need to complete the main story of Relink and advance further into the story of Endless Ragnarok.

Eventually, they will unlock access to Chaos difficulty quests.

Summons can only be used in quests rated Chaos or higher.

This makes Summons a deeper progression feature for players who push into harder content.

Conflux Introduces A New Single-Player Mode

The second major new feature is Conflux.

Conflux is a new single-player mode that features a gauntlet of randomly shuffled areas. Players fight monsters, make strategic choices, and try to reach the end.

Players enter the Conflux through mysterious gateways located in Seedhollow and Tredame Sanctum.

After clearing an area, players choose which area to enter next. Before entering the next area, they select a special power-up that remains active until they leave the Conflux.

This creates a new way to play the game, focused on choices, changing routes, and build decisions.

Rewards For Clearing The Conflux

To complete a Conflux run, players must defeat the boss waiting in the final area.

Clearing the mode rewards a large amount of materials for upgrading weapons and sigils.

This makes the Conflux especially useful for players who want to strengthen their characters.

It also gives solo players another activity to enjoy beyond standard quests and multiplayer content.

Players who want more solo adventures or more upgrade materials should find the Conflux valuable.

Conflux Areas And Power-Ups Change Each Run

Each entry into the Conflux changes the order of areas.

Not every area focuses on combat. Some areas contain only treasure chests. Others may feature rare monster encounters.

Playing through the mode rewards Conflux Points and Resonance Points.

Players can spend these points to acquire helpful power-ups. These power-ups only take effect inside the Conflux.

This gives the mode its own progression layer and makes repeated runs more rewarding.

The deeper players go, the more challenging and rewarding the mode becomes.

When Does The Conflux Unlock?

The Conflux first becomes available in chapter 6.

It expands after certain events in the main story.

Deeper parts of the Conflux offer deadlier challenges but greater rewards.

With every run, characters will continue becoming stronger. This gives players another reason to keep entering the mode and improving their team.

THIS IS our take

Endless Ragnarok looks like it wants to give Relink fans exactly what they crave: more characters, stronger enemies, bigger systems, and another reason to lose dozens of hours to the grind. Fraux, Fediel, The World, controllable summons, and the Conflux make this feel less like a small add-on and more like a serious expansion of the adventure.

X-Oneliner: Endless Ragnarok brings new characters, summons, Conflux runs, and bigger battles to Granblue Fantasy: Relink this July. #thisisgamesea
