Black Desert Mobile Introduces Major New Update
Pearl Abyss has announced a major update for Black Desert Mobile, introducing improvements to Path of Glory, new Destruction Alchemy Stones, and several seasonal events.
The update also includes in-game activities connected to Green Game Jam, a global environmental initiative that encourages the game industry and players to take part in environment-focused actions.
Path of Glory Gets Improved
This update changes Path of Glory by ending its previous seasonal format.
The content has been renamed from Path of Glory Season 10 to Path of Glory. The previous 25 Rift levels have also been merged into 8 levels.
For experienced adventurers looking for stronger challenges, the update adds Rift 9 and Rift 10.
Tus’ Nest has also been removed as part of this improvement. Rewards that were previously obtained from Tus’ Nest have now been moved into Path of Glory instead. This means adventurers can still earn the related rewards by continuing to play Path of Glory.
New Destruction Alchemy Stones
The update also introduces new Alchemy Stones, including Destruction Alchemy Stones and Harmonious Destruction Alchemy Stones.
These items allow adventurers to increase their combat power and experience more meaningful growth through the Alchemy Stone system.
To make Alchemy Stone progression easier for new players, lower-tier Alchemy Stones have been merged, while the acquisition process has also been simplified.
To help all adventurers experience the improved system, Black Desert Mobile is giving 1,000,000 Alchemy Stones to every player.
More Ways to Get Destruction Materials
Alongside the new Destruction Alchemy Stones, Black Desert Mobile has expanded the ways players can obtain Eye of Destruction, an important crafting material.
Adventurers can now obtain Eye of Destruction through Mercenary Notices in the Mountain of Eternal Winter.
The drop rate from monsters in the area has also increased by 1.5 times.
Players also have a higher chance of receiving Eye of Destruction from Treasure Chests of Destruction, which can be obtained from Cursed Pirate Island.
Material acquisition and item management have also been improved. New recipes have been added for dismantling Alchemy Stone materials, allowing adventurers to obtain Eye of Destruction and Breath of Destruction through dismantling.
Green Game Jam and Summer Events
Black Desert Mobile is also joining Green Game Jam, an annual activity organized by Playing for the Planet.
The initiative is supported by the United Nations Environment Programme and encourages the game industry and players to support environmental action.
During the event, adventurers can receive 5 Birch Sapling Pouches through the in-game mailbox. Players can plant the saplings in the required amount to receive an Environmental Protection Box.
Adventurers who take screenshots of their cultivation progress and upload them to the required channel on the official Discord can also receive Restoration Scroll x10,000 as an additional reward.
Summer Events Are Also Live
Several summer events are also available now.
During the event period, adventurers can defeat monsters in specific areas and use Fervor of Adventure to receive materials for completing a collection book.
Depending on their collection progress, players can unlock useful buffs.
A special buff item called Refreshing Coconut will also be given as a reward after completing the required quest.
Adventurers can also receive useful items such as Purified Water, Citron Tea, and Clockwork by exploring specific areas and completing event objectives.
