Valve has finally confirmed the official release date for Steam Machine, the compact gaming computer that many players have been waiting for.

Valve confirmed that it will continue sending email notifications to people in the backup queue when more units become ready to ship.
This rollout is expected to continue through the rest of 2026 and may even extend into 2027, depending on production capacity and stock management.
For now, supply appears to be one of the biggest challenges around the device.
