Assassin’s Creed Shadows officially arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 as Ubisoft brings the grand adventure of Naoe and Yasuke in feudal Japan to Nintendo players. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is carefully optimized to preserve the complete Shadows experience while providing the freedom to play anywhere. At launch, players can access all free post launch content including the special Attack on Titan mission available until December 22. On Nintendo Switch 2, Assassin’s Creed Shadows includes platform specific features designed for accessible and smooth gameplay. The version supports touch screen navigation for menus and maps, a stable 30 frames per second experience in both Docked and Portable modes, offline play after downloading and a game key card that enables digital installation.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows also supports full cross platform gameplay through Ubisoft Connect. This allows players to continue their journey on any supported platform with unified game progression. Items purchased on Nintendo Switch 2 are shared across all linked accounts and the game is available on the Nintendo Store.
