Change of Plan! Blade & Soul Heroes Launch Postponed to Late September

Blade & Soul Heroes, the collectible action RPG set three years before the original Blade & Soul storyline, has delayed its global launch. Originally set for release on September 2, the new official launch date is now September 24. This adjustment aims to ensure a more complete, polished experience for players across 185 countries.

The development team at NC America explained that the delay will allow them to implement player feedback from previous tests and optimize performance for the worldwide rollout. Their focus is on delivering the best possible version of the game at launch.

Players can still pre-register for the game on iOS, Android, Steam, and PURPLE to ensure they’re ready when the game finally arrives.

Blade & Soul Heroes has already been released under the name Hoyeon in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan since late 2024. Those regions have had early access to the game on both mobile and PC platforms.

Final Thought

Delays can be disappointing, especially when excitement is high, but they often come with good reason. In this case, NC America’s choice to hold off until September 24 shows they’re prioritizing quality and the long-term health of the game. A rocky launch could damage the game’s reputation right out of the gate, especially with a global audience watching.

If Blade & Soul Heroes wants to make a mark as a collectible action RPG on the world stage, getting it right the first time is crucial. The extra time might be exactly what it needs to shine.
