Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage Confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 on March 26, 2026
SEGA CORPORATION has officially announced that Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 via the Nintendo eShop on Thursday, March 26, 2026. Pre-orders are now open, and a special launch trailer has also been released to celebrate the announcement.
What Is Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage is the latest 3D fighting game entry in the long-running Virtua Fighter series. The game supports cross-platform play and features rollback netcode across all platforms, allowing players to enjoy smooth and responsive online battles against opponents from around the world.
New Solo-Friendly World Stage Mode
A brand-new World Stage single-player mode has been introduced, inspired by real-world competitive tournaments held across different regions. Players will face powerful opponents inspired by well-known competitive players, recreated as CPU challengers, and fight their way to the top.
Improve Your Skills with Training Mode and Replays
In addition to online play, the game includes a fully customizable Training Mode and a Replay system that allows players to watch and study matches from other players. These features are designed to help players refine their skills and strategies at a competitive level.
Dural Becomes a Playable Character via DLC
The legendary and mysterious fighter Dural will be available as a playable character through additional downloadable content. Players can finally take control of one of the most powerful characters in the series.
Please note that Dural cannot be used in official SEGA tournaments, including the Virtua Fighter Open Championship.

The standard edition of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage is priced at USD 6.99.
