Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Director Teases Long-Term Plans Beyond GTA VI Launch

The team behind Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has hinted that more may be in store for the remake, encouraging players to continue playing even after Grand Theft Auto VI launches.

In an interview with GamesRadar+, game director Richard Knight said the studio has no new announcements to share at the moment but emphasized that the team has long-term plans for supporting the game. He also encouraged players to “keep playing the game even after GTA VI releases,” a comment that has sparked speculation within the community.

Could More Content Be on the Way?

While the statement may simply reflect the developers’ confidence in the game, some fans believe it could hint at additional post-launch content.

One of the biggest points of speculation is the possible return of Freedom Cry, the standalone expansion that was not included in the remake. Players have previously wondered whether the content could eventually be added through a future update or expansion.

For now, Ubisoft has not confirmed any additional content, but Richard Knight’s comments have fueled hopes that Black Flag Resynced’s journey may not be over.
