Robot Rhapsody Kickstarter Hits Goal in Just Two Days

Robot Rhapsody is off to a strong start. Developer Rapturous Studio has revealed its upcoming cyberpunk turn-based RPG, and the project has already surpassed its Kickstarter funding goal just two days after the campaign began.
Inspired by classic Japanese RPGs, Robot Rhapsody blends strategic turn-based combat, pixel art visuals, and a futuristic dystopian setting into a new indie adventure scheduled for PC in 2027.
Hack Enemy Robots and Build Your Own Team
One of the game’s standout mechanics allows players to hack defeated enemy robots and recruit them as allies. Each machine can be upgraded with new parts to unlock stronger abilities and create customized combat strategies.
Players take control of a former soldier who once specialized in hunting rogue machines. She joins forces with Jiro, a young man raised alongside artificial intelligence, as they uncover the mysteries of a cyberpunk world overrun by dangerous technology.
Explore a Living Cyberpunk City
Robot Rhapsody takes place in Zoxxo City, a sprawling pixel-art metropolis filled with unique districts, shops, NPCs, side quests, and hidden secrets.
According to the developer, every NPC follows an individual daily routine, making the city feel more alive. Meanwhile, the protagonist remains a constant target, forcing players to stay alert while exploring the world.
The combination of exploration, storytelling, and tactical battles aims to deliver a modern RPG experience while preserving the charm of classic JRPGs.
Launch Planned for 2027
Robot Rhapsody is currently scheduled to launch on PC in 2027.
