Snowbreak Reopens After 66 Days with Free SSR Rewards

Snowbreak Containment Zone Servers Return After Long Maintenance

The long wait for Southeast Asia players is finally over as Snowbreak: Containment Zone makes its official comeback. After a sudden and indefinite shutdown that lasted 66 days the servers are scheduled to go back online on May 8 2026 at 13:00. This return marks a major milestone for the community which has been speculating about the future of the anime style TPS since the maintenance began in early March.

Massive Rewards and Compensation for Returning Players

To apologize for the extended downtime Amazing Seasun Games is rolling out a heavy compensation package. Players who log in after the reopening can claim a High-Tier Manifestation Invitation which allows the free selection of one Orange-tier character. Additionally a High-Tier Weapon Compatibility Cabinet will be provided to let players choose a matching top-tier weapon. Beyond these one-time rewards the developer is offering 14 days of login bonuses including 4 Memory Club Packs and 2 Balder Inhibitors daily.

Limited Time Event Winds of Warmth Launches Globally

The reopening coincides with the launch of a new limited-time event titled Winds of Warmth. This update will also resolve several pending items from before the shutdown including the return of unclaimed rewards from the Water City Tour missions. The developer has confirmed that all namecards, avatars, and chat stickers associated with past events will be delivered via in-game mail. This ensures that players do not lose progress or items despite the two-month gap in service.

Major Changes to English and Korean Voice Overs

While the return is celebratory there is one significant change regarding the game audio. Support for English and Korean voice acting for new future content has been temporarily suspended. The game will now default to Japanese audio for all upcoming story updates and characters. While existing voice lines for older content will remain available players will have to rely on Japanese or Chinese voices for new missions. The developers have not provided a specific reason for this audio shift or the original 66 day maintenance period.

Nothing says “we are sorry for ghosting you” like handing out free SSR characters and weapons! While the two-month silence was definitely stressful for the fan base the sheer amount of freebies might just be enough to smooth things over. It is a bit of a bummer to lose the English and Korean voice updates for new content but as long as the waifus and the gunplay stay top-tier we think the community will be busy enough with the Winds of Warmth event to forgive and forget.
