Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 Celebrates 2nd Anniversary with New Lumiflux Agent

HoYoverse has officially unveiled Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1, titled “To the Long Farewell”, which arrives on July 29 as part of the game’s second anniversary celebration. The update introduces the game’s first-ever Lumiflux element, brand-new S-Rank Agents, permanent gameplay additions, Xbox ecosystem support, and a generous lineup of free anniversary rewards.

Meet Remielle Dan and Sigrid

Leading Version 3.1 is Remielle Dan, the first S-Rank Anomaly Agent that wields the brand-new Lumiflux attribute. Her unique Elemental Variation mechanic allows her attacks to adapt based on the attribute of the next Agent in the team, giving players greater flexibility when exploiting enemy weaknesses.

Joining her is Sigrid, an S-Rank Ice Attack Agent from the Aerial Inspection Bureau. She specializes in maintaining offensive momentum through her Aerial Patrol Spear stance, rewarding players who can chain attacks together efficiently.

Version 3.1 also includes reruns of Aria during the first phase and a new Exclusive Rescreening banner in the second phase, allowing players to choose from Dialyn, Ukinami Yuzuha, or Asaba Harumasa along with their signature W-Engines.

Celebrate Two Years with Massive Rewards

To commemorate the game’s second anniversary, HoYoverse is giving every Proxy the opportunity to select one free Limited S-Rank Agent from five available choices: Jane, Soldier 0 – Anby, Hugo, Trigger, or Lucia, together with that character’s signature W-Engine.

Players will also receive:

• 1,600 Polychrome
• 20 free pulls through login rewards and check-in events
• Character upgrade materials
• W-Engine enhancement materials

New Permanent Gameplay

Version 3.1 introduces a brand-new permanent game mode called Labyrinth Project: Bagel. Players will venture deep into dangerous Hollows, collect valuable resources, escape before time runs out, and invest their findings into research facilities to strengthen future expeditions.

The mode will receive seasonal updates and share weekly progression alongside Hollow Zero while offering unique seasonal rewards.

Summer Event and New Costumes

The limited-time summer event, Summer Waves, takes players to Fantasy Resort, where they will search beaches for treasures and help manage a souvenir shop alongside Lucy, Sigrid, and Remielle.

Completing the event rewards players with Lucy’s free summer outfit, while additional premium costumes become available for Vivian, Sigrid, and Remielle, including two alternate versions of Remielle’s elegant evening attire.

Quality-of-Life Improvements

Version 3.1 also delivers several major gameplay improvements, including a customizable Signal Search system that lets players pre-select preferred S-Rank Agents and W-Engines, an overhauled beginner progression guide, faster leveling between Inter-Knot Levels 20–50, and expanded inventory management features for W-Engines.

Xbox Support Arrives

Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1 also marks the game’s expansion into the Xbox ecosystem. Players will be able to enjoy cross-platform progression across Xbox consoles and PC through the Xbox platform, while Xbox Game Pass members will receive limited-time in-game rewards.

Version 3.1 launches on July 29 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud Gaming, PC, Steam, iOS, and Android.
