WEBZEN, the global game publisher, has kicked off the new year with a major content expansion for the Idle RPG MU: Pocket Knights. The update introduces broader competitive opportunities, improved character development, and festive New Year events to celebrate the season.

Cross-Server Rankings and Competitive Expansion

Previously limited to individual server rankings, the update now offers a cross-server ranking system, allowing players to compete in group rankings that aggregate performance across multiple servers. An overall ranking also measures players globally, providing new challenges and goals for both casual and hardcore players.

Enhanced Character Development

The update adds high-tier equipment and accessories, including Shadow, Evolution, and Temple items. These can be obtained from high-level quests and the Abyss Dungeon. The top floors of the Demon Square and Abyss Dungeon have also been expanded, offering greater challenges for veteran players seeking more demanding content.

New Year Events and Rewards

To celebrate the New Year, WEBZEN has introduced a Lucky Bag event, allowing eligible players to gather event materials through exploration and open them for rewards such as diamonds, power-up items, and exclusive costume sets.

Convenient New Shop System

A new in-game shop, Momo’s Everything Store, has been added to facilitate item acquisition. Players can purchase essential crafting materials and monster cores that usually require extensive gameplay to obtain.

WEBZEN has stated that regular updates will continue throughout the year, ensuring long-term growth, competitive opportunities, and ongoing engagement for the MU: Pocket Knights community.
