Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter Remake Confirmed for Next Year

The turn-based JRPG series Trails in the Sky continues its comeback as Falcom confirms the remake of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC 2nd Chapter is scheduled for release next year. The announcement comes less than two months after the first remake’s launch, marking an exciting moment for fans of the franchise.

According to Falcom’s latest fiscal report, the 2nd Chapter remake will launch around September 2026. This ensures that players will have access to at least two chapters of the series next year, reflecting strong fan reception from the first remake.

About Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter
The 2nd Chapter follows Estelle as she journeys across the Liberl Kingdom in search of Joshua. Meanwhile, the Bracer Guild assigns her missions to investigate the mysterious organization Society of Ouroboros. The game offers over 70 hours of story-driven gameplay, combining exploration, turn-based combat, and deep character interactions. Fans of the original can also revisit the PC version on Steam.

The upcoming remake will expand upon the original structure, featuring a semi-open 3D world, enhanced voice acting, and additional story content to enrich the experience. While the specific platforms are yet to be fully confirmed, it’s expected the game will follow the first remake’s launch on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Falcom’s announcement reinforces the momentum of the Trails series and promises a rich JRPG experience for both longtime fans and newcomers.
